Another winter of snow and cold is set for our near future. We find we must again slow down, shelter in place, cease from so much activity, and settle into a sustainable stillness. Our theme for December is Stillness. Join us for stories and songs to lead us into another season together. Workshops will follow.

This month, we are trying something a little different. We are offering two workshops this week, as usual. And we are offering two other workshops next week. The two next week (Dec 13th) will be “Makerspace” with Amanda Jones and “Soul Matters SGM” with Douglas Taylor. This week, after service, we offer these multi-age workshops:
 
Ghosts of Christmases Past with Karen Marsh: Christmas was not always celebrated as it is today – but how WAS it celebrated?  Join us for a discussion about Christmas traditions of the past and to share YOUR family Christmas traditions, past and present!

UUCB Holiday Food Drive: Let’s talk about hunger and how we can help with Heather Kirkland:. For all ages, with hands-on craft activities and discussion appropriate to the participants. Optional materials to have available: large box (approx. 20″x15″x9″), colored pencils, markers pens/crayons, plain or colored wrapping paper, tape or glue (with adult assistance), scissors and 81/2 x 11 paper.
