The Jewish High Holy days are a excellent time for non-Jews to also notice and attend to the work of forgiveness and reconnection. This First Sunday, with the theme of “Deep Listening” will be our invitation into the season. (Join us after service for Workshops!)

First Sunday Workshops 

“Listening to Nature” with the Moss House leaders, location TBA. Engage in interactive deep listening. Activities will include a listening meditation, and hand crafting music sticks with jingle bells (for a loud sound) and beads (for a quiet sound).

“Realm Training” with Blake Schmutz in the Chapel: Our congregation has adopted a new database called Realm. Come see how it works and what you can do with it.

“Faith in Action – Making Free Lunches for Neighbors in Need” with Julie Boyd in the Social Hall. We will make sandwiches and fill lunch bags for the men’s shelter at Whitney Place. All ages are invited to lend a hand!
