The UUCB Endowment committee is now opening up the application process for 2025 grants.
Every year, a portion of the yearly earnings from our Endowment Fund is made available through grants for specific projects.
Per our by-laws, the grants must further the needs/visions of our congregation and must fit into one of the following categories:
~ Capital improvements to the Congregation property.
~ Community outreach programs, such as local non-profit organizations.
~ Educational grants, such as developing Congregational leadership and student activities.
~ The wider mission, such as the Unitarian Universalist Service Committee.
~ Congregation operational expenses (these will be discouraged if they apply to
ongoing upkeep or operations).
~ Other charitable purposes.
However, as the Endowment Committee recognizes the special circumstances facing the congregation at this time, we are placing a high importance on projects that can be used for the internal purpose of stabilizing UUCB finances over the long term. Put on your thinking caps and get creative!
Any member of the Congregation may complete an application for a grant and if the project is funded, that person will be the liaison to the project.
The grant application is available here.
The application deadline will be October 31, 2024
Decisions will be made by Dec. 31, and projects will run from Jan. – Dec. 2025.
We look forward to hearing from you!
