Marty Pelham is a Florida native who grew up beside their grandfather’s strawberry farm near Plant City. They finally left the tropical climes of their birth in 2015, discovering the miracle of seasons in Massachusetts and then the winter wonderland that is central New York. A 2018 graduate of Andover Newton Theological School, UUA ministerial candidate, and current resident of Syracuse, they had previous careers in social services and education. A Unitarian Universalist since 2001, Marty is committed to interfaith engagement as a catalyst for spiritual growth and social justice.
