| Women have had an interesting and difficult history with the mental health system and we who fail to learn from this history are “doomed to repeat it.” Pathologizing normal life experiences led to a culture of punishment and mistreatment simply for being women. In this service, we will examine the past and today and see not only how far we’ve come, but how far there still is to go. |
