This is FYI. These two rooms (room 11 (used by Moss House) and room 12) need some dehumidifying each summer to keep them from developing a mildew problem. The dehumidifier we've been using for Room 11 is getting old and ineffective so I'm trying something different. For both rooms, I've set up our ASHP system for "dry mode" and lowered the setpoint to 68 degrees. The low setpoint is necessary so that the units run often enough to make the dehumidifying effective. So that is why these two rooms are now rather chilly. I take relative humidity measurements in those rooms. This approach seems to be working .. Room 11 had been 71% and that is now down to 50%. I'll set these rooms back to normal once we get into early fall and the need for dehumidifying goes away.
I'll pass this info along to Moss House so they are aware. They have the remote controller to be able to temporarily increase the setpoint, as needed. I expect them to be back sometime in August to prepare for this fall.
