“Our Violent Legacy,” by historian Steve Call.  Steve Call’s discussion will focus on the complicated and violent relationships between the failure of Reconstruction after the Civil War, the Jim Crow Era, and the legacy of racism in this country.  The social, cultural, and political problems we continue to struggle with illustrate the on-going relevance of this long history.
