Dear congregation,
As of Friday morning, we are intending to still hold our 12:30 worship service this Sunday, March 15. We are also moving forward with the 4:00 pm memorial service for Heda Libby. This may change, see the last paragraph for our general procedure for communicating about closing.
Even though we plan to hold worship, we strongly encourage anyone who is sick to stay home. We also encourage anyone who is in a vulnerable demographic regarding COVID-19 (elderly and immune-compromised) to stay home. Additionally, to help ‘flatten the impact,’ we ask that everyone refrain from hugs, handshakes, and such for the next month or two. Wash your hands.
We will be experimenting with a live-streaming option for this Sunday’s worship service with the anticipation that we will likely need to cancel in-person gatherings for a month or more with this pandemic. Watch for news about how to connect with our worship services online.

If we ever need to close or cancel Sunday worship service for any reason, we will make that decision by 8:00 am Sunday morning (earlier when possible). Notice of the cancellation will be posted on our Facebook group & page, on our website’s front page, and sent out to the congregational email list. We will also put word out on WBNG-TV and WNBF radio.
And remember to stay connected in creative ways.
Yours in faith,
Rev. Douglas Taylor
