Social Action Teams

What are Social Action Teams?

Teams form based on members’ calling toward specific social justice issues.

Teams:

  • Make connections within the broader community
  • Organize events/activities/classes
  • Provide HUUB with info on needs and activities
  • Inspire others
  • Research ways to make an impact.

What is the HUUB?

The UUCB Social Action HUUB helps teams fulfill their visions by providing support and helping them make the necessary connections to do the work, including helping to publicize teams’ needs and events to the UUCB community.

How do I start a Social Action Team?

If you have an idea for a team, please read our information packet and submit a team registration form. You do not need to do this alone; at any point in the process, please feel free to contact a member of the HUUB with questions and concerns. If you anticipate that your team will need funding, it is best if you register before January 31st; however, you may start forming a team at any time.
