Adventures in Aging: Looking Back & Moving Forward

Toby and Libby Anderson will facilitate an Adult RE program for four or five Tuesdays at 7 p.m. Tuesdays, beginning March 25, to enhance attitudes and behavior regarding aging and the aging of others. It will be a participatory program using sources: From Ageing to Sage-ing by Rabbi Zalman Schacter-Shalomi, Mary Pipher’s Another Country, Elisabeth Kubler-Ross’ The Tunnel and the Light, Betty Friedan’s The Fountain of Age. Take a look at one or two of these, available in the office, or from Toby and Libby, your library or bookstore. There will be a small materials fee and some “homework.” The program will be appropriate for adults of any age, especially those with aging parents and those in or nearing retirement and beyond. A sign-up sheet is posted on the bulletin board.
