The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Binghamton is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and outgoing person as their new Membership Coordinator.
This highly motivated person will welcome, connect, and follow-up with visitors. They will also organize and supervise activities to integrate new members and support long-time members in order to achieve the congregation’s membership growth and retention objectives.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, familiarity and talent using social media, ability to learn to use the UUCB membership database, and an interest in using modern communication methods to attract and retain newcomers and members.
Experience in delegating tasks, coordinating and supervising volunteers, and planning and implementing programs is preferred. The position requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of UU principles and values, and a positive and friendly attitude.
The candidate will work
10 hours a week, including Sunday mornings
• $12 an hour
