First Sundays are always engaging, this month we explore the theme of ‘mystery.’ What are the Big Questions we ask? Join us for worship and stay for the workshops that follow!  The workshops start at 11:30.

Our workshops this month are an opportunity to explore
the monthly Soul Matters theme:
“What does it mean to be a people of Mystery?”

Mysteries Art JoAnn Freer (Room 6 & 7) – Using a variety of art mediums, we will focus on “Mysteries.”

A Gathering of Mystics Libby Anderson (Room 10) – Mystery surrounds us! Do you count yourself as a mystic? Does your spirituality lean deeply into “the mystery” and ineffability?

Care Packages “Faith in Action” J. Boyd, D. Elliot, C. Finch, and B. Nordstrom (Room 9) – Join us in making care packages for our ‘Youth Group Alum;’ and holiday gift bags for elder congregants in Nursing Homes or Home Bound.

Big Questions Aileen Fitzke (Fireside Room) – What are the Big Questions commonly asked by the various religious traditions? What are the Big Questions you ask? How shall you answer?

Laughing Meditation Carol Lanois (Room 5) – Learn how to use mindfulness practice for fun and stress release. Laughing engages the immune system. We mirror our laughter and it becomes a natural yoga breath without the bending and stretches.

Without a Clue Pratik Mamtora (Room 3) – Do you love puzzles? Join the challenge of putting one together without the help of the picture. What will it look like when we’re done?
