The Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Binghamton is seeking some new employees!
We are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and outgoing person to be our new Membership Coordinator. This highly motivated person will welcome, connect, and follow-up with visitors. They will also organize and supervise activities to integrate new members and support long-time members in our congregation in order to achieve our membership growth and retention objectives. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, familiarity and talent using social media, ability to learn to use the UUCB membership database, and an interest in using modern communication methods to attract and retain newcomers and members. Experience in delegating tasks, coordinating and supervising volunteers, and planning and implementing programs is preferred. The position requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of UU principles and values, and a positive and friendly attitude.
The candidate will work 10 hours a week, including Sunday mornings $12 an hour
We are also accepting applications for a Nursery Care provider; responsible for ensuring a safe, nurturing environment for children, infants through age 5, on Sunday mornings.
We also have a few positions for childcare providers for occasional meetings and events at other times. The successful applicants will have prior experience caring for children in a group setting, knowledge of child development, familiarity with Unitarian Universalism, and CPR & First Aid certification.
